I made a quick trip to New York this week. 

As much as I travel, the uniqueness of the city still caught my eye.  It almost looked like a movie set. 

It is the beginning of summer.  Throngs of people were out and about.  The outfits were different and trendier.  There is just a different pace and pulse here.  Seemingly, something cool is happening everywhere.

For example, last night I got invited to a party.  The rules were that for the first hour it would be first names only, no discussion of what you do, etc. Part of the fun was figuring out who was there and why they were special.

Fascinating evening.  

Dr. Doom is bearish on Italy on fears it will leave the EuroZone … and bullish on AI, Big Data, and the Internet-of-Things.  Me too!
